You can be an affiliate from anywhere in the world. All you need is traffic from the region the merchant is in or willing to ship to.

High Performance Affiliate Marketing was also one of my favorite reads, good thing I found this blog because I had no idea he was releasing black ink 2.0 He should provide some revenue share for this great review because I am just about to sign up, and I am pretty sure I’m not the only one (And if I am a lot of people are missing out)
I’ve read about Jeremy Palmer from some business friends and they had been raving about the effective methods found in ‘High Performance Affiliate Marketing.’ Since I’ve been reading a lot of good things about affiliate programs, I’ve been thinking of having a try at it myself. I wonder how successful affiliate marketing will be in 2009 / 2010 - search engines don’t really like affiliate sites since they offer little to no unique content.

Well the question is not if they “like” or “don’t like” but if they can tell. So, what do you do; you make your affiliate site more and more looking like a real site, sproof it up with content, etc. (see my link to see my affiliate site)
Affiliate sites dont seem to be as popular anymore, at one point it was the buzz word but now you dont really hear to much about it. Like some have said its quite pricey too
