I have been in FHTM for quite some time, and have made some money, and I have not made any enemies in the process. If you have read much of this blog, you will know my background is in the business world. I own a truck equipment company, I have another company that contracts equipment to the Federal Government, and I do a lot of business with big utility companies, government agencies, school districts, and I distribute truck and van equipment across the US. I rep for a manufacturer, and we are their number 1 distributor, as we are for a commercial van equipment supplier. Most MLM's are what YOU make of them, no effort, no return. Just like the big business world. You want a free ride, go on welfare, you want to get rich quick, buy a lotto ticket, you want security, join the union, want to make something of yourself and have success, take some risk and bust your ass! I personally know several people who have made good money with FHTM. They put a lot of time and effort into what they did, and reaped the benefits, and didn't loose any friends in the process. Most of the people I know in FHTM are the business types, professionals, people looking for a return on their investment, a supplement to their long term financial growth. One personal observation I have made is that most of those who labeled this a scam, or run scared, are the typical working class, living pay check to pay check. Been there, done that. I lost my union job back in '82, and decided to start my own business, and quickly learned, no guts, no glory. Not all my business ventures have been fruitful, I lost about $35,000.00 in the late '90s on a franchise I purchased (specialized janitorial) that I was sure would be a hit in Southern California just like it was in other parts of the country, but I was wrong. I made an investment of $299.00 in FHTM thinking it too would be a hit and that I could make a some money, and I was right. Think about something for a minute, how much money is that today? I went to a concert recently, the venue was at a large Indian Casino, and with the tickets, a couple of meals, and a room for the night I spent a LOT more in that one evening than I did to sign up for FHTM. Was I scammed? No I made an informed decision, and the return was as I anticipated. Lets be honest folks, $299.00 is not a lot of money these days. I'm sure I could make a lot more money than I'm making from FHTM if I put in the effort, but my wife doesn't like me working more than 16 hrs a day. I do reap benefits from FHTM, and have never felt scammed, it worked just like I was told it would. It's not perfect, nothing is. It's not for everyone. But be realistic in your goals, work hard, use and sell the services, share your experience HONESTLY with others, and there is some money to be made with FHTM. Most of Americans are on a 40 year plan that allows them to retire with just enough to live on (or not considering what has just happened with our economy).
