What is Agloco? Get Paid To Surf!

Want to make some money for nothing? This isn’t my typical approach to people, but my intentions are good, I promise! Some of the readers here may have never heard of Agloco, because it is a relatively new “company”. Getting paid to surf sounds a little “too good to be true”, but I’m going to jump on the bandwagon because it cost’s nothing to sign up and there is no risk. Heck…I’m on the computer most of the day anyway….why not make a little something for it?

Sometimes Free is too Expensive...

So now you’re probably asking what this is and how this works? Well, you’d probably find out a lot more details in the FAQ’s section of their website, but I’ll provide my take on it as well.
You download a Viewbar from their site. Now this Viewbar will be something very similar to your toolbars at the top of your page now. When you download it and start the Viewbar, it automatically make’s it’s home at the bottom of your monitor, which is fine with me. I think you can move it to the top if you choose to.

So this Viewbar is the thing you have to have before you can start accumulating time for surfing. The viewbar itself will begin showing ads. These aren’t big obnoxious ads….they’re nothing more than text links at this time. They’ll say something like, “Get 15% off Shoes at ShoesAreUs”. These ads will constantly change and rotate through the viewbar. Agloco is betting that by getting this viewbar out on some many monitors across the world, people will start clicking on the ads and purchasing items from the merchants. Agloco in turn, will get a small percentage of that sale, and would in turn, pass a percentage back on to the rest of us. May sound like small potatoes at first, but when you consider the potential of having millions and millions of people buying through these ads, I can see how it might add up!

The compensation: Well at this point, details are pretty sketchy on how the compensation to everyone will work. I understand that it may be in the form of “shares” of the company. Agloco references the example of YouTube and how Google bought them out last year for $1.6 billion dollars. The founders of YouTube got “stinkin wealthy”, while all the millions of people that submitted their videos to YouTube, and basically created all the content on the site, got absolutely nothing! Agloco is taking a different approach and letting all of the users have a stake in the company. If Google or some other huge company comes along and buys Agloco, then the “shares” that we’re accumulating may be worth a lot of money! On the other hand, the company could flop and we’d all be out…….”nothing”. I believe it will just take a little time to see how things work before we will start getting a good feel for how the money will play out.

So here is the deal. You can get in now on the front end, and ask others to sign up because you can make a percentage from the people who sign up through you. Or you can pass on the opportunity and let someone else sign up your potential referrals, (but won’t you be kicking yourself “if” this deal takes off???). I’d like to ask that you sign up through my link if you would be so kind. You won’t make any more or less compensation by doing this vs. signing up directly with the company.

Agloco is catching a lot of attention in the web world, and I really think this thing will take off. If you wait around to get in the game, you may be missing a big opportunity? If they asked for money to sign up, I’d have passed in a heartbeat. But losing a very small piece of my monitor real estate while waiting to see how this company takes off, is a small price to pay considering the potential.

One thing to note and I think it’s a problem for everyone….the response time from the Agloco website has often been horrible. I think that this is a blessing and a curse. I believe it’s a result of the many people that are trying to download the viewbar, (which means lots of people are signing up $$), but if you can’t get to the site to download the viewbar, then it doesn’t do you much good. The best I can tell you is if it doesn’t work…try back again later.

Hope you’ve learned something from this post. Maybe we will all profit from this deal. It would certainly be nice! :) Again…you can sign up through my link here. Thank you!

Chris

The earlier you get in the better with these sort of schemes. Will be good to hear some updates as time goes by. Good luck.

I am still skeptical about this site… I think I will wait until people start making money.

I wonder how long this one will last. :)

I have to admit that I wonder whether it will go anywhere? But…if all I invest is a few minutes of my time, then I figure I can’t lose too much if it flops.
    Thanks everyone for your comments!

Label me a skeptic…. they’ll need a lot of people to install toolbars, and toolbars are things people shy away from; especially when the adds get more obnoxious.

Thanks for the comment Jeremy! I understand your point. It will be interesting to see what comes of this deal. So far, the ads have been very “quiet”, meaning they’re small, text ads with no graphics. I’ve even clicked on a few because the caught my attention. But I wonder if they have plans to make the ads more obnoxious? If it starts getting distracting, I’ll drop them. If what they’re showing now is all they do…I can live with that. I guess we’ll see what happens.

Ad me to the skeptics list. This service has taken an age to roll-out and every post I’ve seen has relayed a different reason for the delays. Usually a great service delivers from day one & people are raving about how they have just been paid. Haven’t seen it yet with Agloco. Am picking that for most the payouts will be minimal and there will be a significant drop-out shortly. Or may-be I just missed the bus and will have to watch the money roll into someone elses pocket. Good luck - I hope it turns out well.

Home Business Ideas - Thanks for your comment and sorry I’m just now responding, :( To be perfectly honest, I had heard a little about Agloco, but didn’t think much about them until I saw Steve Pavlina post about them. I a big fan of Steve’s, and value his comments. At that point I decided I might as well give it a try. I only have a couple of sign-ups in addition to myself…so any compensation I receive would be minimal at best. Now someone like John Chow who has something in the order of 19000 sign-ups, could stand to make a little money. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. I doubt you missed out on very much!
Thanks for your comments, and please do return sometime. I’ll try to respond sooner!
