For many of you reading this post, the subject matter will be of no great surprise as it was announced on the 22nd of May. But on the other hand, I have friends that read this blog who might find this post, new and interesting.

“Google Hot Trends” is a cool little “feature” (for lack of a better term), that you can use to see what terms people around the world are searching for the most each and every day. I learned of this through the blogs that I frequent. It’s a bloggers dream as it provides a constant, fresh flow of material to write about.

But it’s kinda cool for those that aren’t bloggers as well. For instance, if I go check out hot trends right now, I see the most searched for term is “Joslyn Noel Morse“. Now I don’t know about you, but I’ve never heard the name? So when I click on that name, I can bring up news stories about this person. I quickly learn that she’s a 30 year old stripper that has been seen hanging out with famous baseball player “A-Rod“.

Now…you may or may not find this interesting. Personally, I’m not a big baseball fan, and could care less about A-Rod or who he’s been hanging out with. But…there are 99 other top searches and it’s interesting to see what all the buzz is about on the internet. Google hot trends is a neat little way to get your “internet gossip fix” each day!
