Blogging In A New Direction

Over the past few months, I’ve tried to decide what I want to do with this blog. Originally, my thoughts were to keep it local and blog about places and happenings in central Arkansas. There’s nothing wrong with that, but thats not really where my heart lies in terms of writing & blogging.

First and foremost, I want to write about subjects that are helpful to readers. Maybe it’s something inspirational, maybe it’s something that helps them solve a specific problem or maybe it’s something that makes a person laugh when they’re feeling a bit down. The number one rule I want to live by is to “offer help & hope”. If I help someone, they’ll come back and bring their friends.

Tons of people are writing about how to make money on the internet. Yes…that is a very helpful thing to blog about and something that many readers are interested in, but with so many writers focusing on the subject, I think I’d have a hard time gaining any readers that could learn something new from me? And I get tired of going from one blog to the next and seeing the same old tips offered up on all of them. Now blogging about how “I’ve made” money on the internet…now there’s an inspirational story that I’d like to share some day! ;)

So my wife & I are getting away for the weekend to do some ATV riding in the nearby Ozark National Forest. It’s a great weekend getaway and some of the most beautiful natural scenery around! When I return, I can assure you that my intent will be to write heartfelt, passionate posts that will make someone want to come back again and again. I hope you will join me!

    6. I think you right, so far when I read so many blog. many of them talk about blogging and how to make money online. My suggestion many blogger can add some topic like motivation for blogging. It is still about blogging for money but in different way.
