FHTM : Take Me Off Your List

UPDATE: This post previously contained links to a great affiliate marketing program by Jeremy Palmer. Jeremy has decided to focus on his existing customers vs. pursuing new customers, so Jeremy has taken his eBook off the market. Therefore, all links have been removed. Fortunately I’m one of his existing customers.
Please see latest post on FHTM here.
It seems as though Fortune High Tech Marketing, (FHTM) has taken Conway Arkansas by storm!
Not familiar with the business? FHTM is not a “brick & mortar” company, so don’t expect to see them building on your side of town. This is a network marketing business that anyone can be a part of. If you haven’t been approached about joining, you can probably expect a call.
That’s precisely the point of my post today. I’ve been formally asked on 3 different occasions, if I’d be interested in signing up as an FHTM rep and “informally” in a few other conversations. I certainly don’t have a problem with someone asking, but after the 2nd or 3rd time of listening to the presentation on the phone, it gets a little old.
So for those of you that have me on your “list to call”, please scratch me off your list. I was planning to post several reasons why I didn’t care for the program, but I do have friends that are involved and I certainly don’t want to hurt anything they have working. If you want my personal thoughts or opinions, you can always contact me.
If at your an FHTM’er, and you become discouraged with your progress, you might look into “affiliate marketing”. It’s probably more difficult to learn affiliate marketing, but once you get the basics down, you’re well on your way. This is a great, no nonsense guide to the business.
So what are some of the benefits to affiliate marketing over network marketing?
- No need to call on friends and family…in fact, no calling anyone! All business flows through your websites.
- The majority of the commissions from your sales go to YOU. You don’t just get a small portion while the rest goes to your upline.
- Virtually unlimited products and services to promote! Make money by being an expert in something you enjoy. If you like fishing, promote fishing products. If you like designer clothes, promote them. If you can dream it up, chances are there is a company out there that would love for you to drive traffic & sales to their site!
Affiliate marketing isn’t for everyone. It helps to know your way around a computer and the internet, although you don’t have to be a guru. As with many internet businesses, you can expect to see a lot of hype about how you can make a fortune in no time. While that may happen to people occasionally, don’t expect that to be the norm. Hard work does pay off though! ![]()

Its pretty sad to cut others down to promote your own business. You are not the type the company is looking for. No one is forcing you to do it. Please do not bad mouth something you know nothing about. Thanks
“cut others down to promote your own business”?
I don’t believe I’ve cut anyone down? Actually…I went out of my way “not” to say anything bad about the company. As for promoting my own business…I really don’t have a business to promote. I was simply making people aware of a way to actually make money without having to bug their friends and family.
“you are not the type the company is looking for” The company doesn’t have a “type” that they’re looking for. They will gladly accept anyone who will give them $299. I actually had one person that was going to pay my joining fee, just so they could meet their sign-up quota for the month!
“no one is forcing you to do it”
You’re correct about that…I sure wish they would quit pestering me about it since I’m “not their type” anyway?
“Please do not bad mouth something you know nothing about”
First of all…I didn’t bad mouth anyone. Secondly, I know quite a bit about the company as I did extensive research on them when everyone was trying to get me to join. I know a “LOT” more about how they operate than most people that are talked into signing up.
I suppose I should re-post about FHTM now that most of my friends have dropped out of it.
But thanks for your comments…gives me a chance to drudge this subject back up.

Very good info…we were just contacted for the first time tonight.
All I have to say is Chris, thanks for doing all of that research and saving me some time and $$$
Please everyone do some reading. Suggestion “Why we want you to be Rich” Donald Trump & Robert Kiosaki. I’m tired of all these little cat fights amonst people you will be more successful if you spend your time working whatever business fits you best.
I have been with FHTM for 5 months and am an Executive Sales Manager. i am confused about your comments…

There are no quotos with FHTM. That’s why I signed up. No pressure to meet a quota.
