Is Fortune High Tech Marketing or FHTM Right For You?

I ran across this article written by Dean VanDruff a while back when I was doing some research on Fortune High Tech Marketing or FHTM as it’s sometimes called. The article is not directed at FHTM, but more about Multi Level Marketing or MLM’s in general. At the time I found the article, I had several people trying to get me into the “business”. If you’ve been invited to join FHTM, (or any other MLM for that matter), but aren’t quite sure it’s right for you, I suggest you read this article first so that you can arm yourself with valid, legitimate questions to ask your rep before “paying someone” to be a part of their business. Read the article and think about it. In the end, only you can make the decision as to whether FHTM is right for you.

I appreciate the post, but I think it’s important when presenting a topic to do ample research on both the negatives and the pluses of the subject matter that is being covered to give an unbiased opinion, unless of course your aim was to be biased to begin with; in which case you should state so, so that the reader is formerly aware. I am sure that for as many negatives that could be said of car A there are most likely as many positives of car A as well, hence it’s existance and so forth. It is as important to display a balanced field of vision for the reader as it is to mention the subject matter of choice in the first place because this type of subject matter is directly linked to the possible direct decisive outcomes of peoples lives and the lives of their families. SO it’s important to get a clear overall picture of such prior to making ANY future impacting move, otherwise there is a high probability that there is something that the reader does not take into account, both positive and negative. The traditional corporate structure also has an equal amount of, if not more negatives to think about than this article, yet we all pursue it anyways, just so you get an idea what i’m pointing at.
Hello “Interesting” -
Thanks for your comment. You make a valid point. I didn’t really explain my reasoning. For the record…I am biased. I feel like a lot of people join FHTM and other MLM’s, not fully understanding what they’re getting into. Someone calls them and begins to tell them how fabulous this opportunity is and how easy it is to make a few extra bucks each month or a few thousand bucks each month if they work hard enough. The times I’ve been approached, I’ve always been told about “some person” who made (insert huge, “attention grabbing” dollar amount here) last month, and they just started 6 months ago!” Of course I had no way of knowing this person or whether or not this claim is real, but it sure sounds enticing to someone that wants to be in business for themselves. No one has ever called me and said…”you know Chris, if you’re not really a sales person, and you don’t like calling people and trying to get them to join up in something like this, then you probably won’t really like MLM’s or do well in them”. It’s always been just the opposite…people have tried ANYTHING to persuade me to join so they can get the bonus for signing me up.
Now having experienced that, for me it’s easy to stand back and look at the whole deal and think that something isn’t quite right with this picture?
Regardless…I respect your opinion and to be a fair about it, I wouldn’t be opposed to allowing someone from FHTM or another MLM, to post reasons why an MLM would be a “good” way to make a living. If someone is interested, they can contact me through my contact form at the top of this page. I’ll provide details on what I’m looking for and how they can send me their post and I’ll publish it here.
Chris
I am agree with “Interesting”.
But “Chris” your post is really appreciable.
I have been approached by many different MLM representatives from a variety of companies and my experience has been universally negative. I’m sure that there are people out there making money with them but I always advise against getting involved.
Probably it could be, but I do my marketing myself. I have studied a lot for it and I am working full time as a marketer, so I know what to do.
interesting approach
Very interesting
