Melanoma Monday
Gosh folks….I can’t believe I didn’t realize this sooner!
Apparently today, Monday May 7th, was “melanoma Monday”! (Please correct me if I’m wrong)! I originally saw the article on my homepage, and after doing some searching…there may be some discrepancy? Regardless of whether it was today, last Monday or any day this month…you should be thinking about, and having yourself checked for melanoma. If caught early, melanoma is very curable!
Being a fair complected, white guy, melanoma is something that I have to be on watch for. Here is an article from the UAMS, (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences) website.
If you have a place on your skin that you’re not sure about, have it checked out. It’s quick and easy to check and it could save your life or the life of a loved one!
