>???????? ????? ????????.enough talk of serious stuff…lets talk about asparagus pee. “Asparagus pee?” What the hell is asparagus pee and why do I mention it? Well…it just so happens that this is a phenomena that I find both interesting and amusing. We had asparagus for dinner tonight and my first pee triggered this blog post.

Ugh I can’t choke down asparagus to begin with. Looks like I’ll never experience it’s effects!
Hell yes I can smell it. It smells awful. I have to hold my breath the whole time I pee otherwise I gag.

Yuck!!! Every time I eat it, my urine smells very strong! I never knew why - just read the wikipedia entry about it.

Wow, now I am sure I will never try it. I hated it for no other reason but looks and taste, but this puts it on the black food list for the rest of my life.

its actually a kind of herbs, it can cure somekind of disease if not mistaken. I hav been told by a fren from south east asia, people there likes this.

Now that’s a really weird name for a food course… Maybe I just don’t know how good it may taste, but I don’t think I’d be attracted to any food that includes ‘pee’ in its name.

I guess there are two ways to go about this then; either you DON’T tell your kids about this little fact so that they’ll “eat their veggies and be strong and healthy” or you DO share this info with them so they won’t stink up the bathroom anymore.

This post really cracked me up. Last week I remember my pee smelling really badly. At the time I wondered to myself, “Why does it stink?” Having read this post, I think that I ate asparagus that day. Too funny.

This is the first time I’ve actually heard of asparagus pee — I don’t like asparagus to begin with, and the chances of me eating them again from this point on have become slimmer.
I cannot eat that. but I have found out that when I drink coffee, I can smell that.

I am gonna have to say that I am not going to be sniffing my pee after I eat asparagus, that just doesn’t seem right.

The fact that there is such a term as “asparagus pee” makes me want to avoid asparagus pee entirely.
As a matter fact, only 25% of all mens can smell “asparagus pee” i’m one of them, and its really no big deal

OMG….I just found this blog and am cracking up over this post! I love asparagus, and yes, it makes your urine smell! But it’s worth it.
Does asparagus really have such effect on our urine - cause in mine I really don’t notice any odor changes whenever I pee. Anyways, love asparagus so much, especially if sauteed with beef and olive oil.
