    29. Haha classic. There is loads of companies that do commercials that put you in a positive state and it has nothing to do with the advert. There is one that says “The first day you are born is the last day you are truly free” and it is selling a tv!

    43. Yes it is a pretty funny marketing strategy. There are several commercials in this series and they’re all funny. It actually makes me want to try their gum to see how long lasting it actually is.

    Alias, 24, Lost, Prison Break and a host of other dramas all speak to the secret combinations, the threatening cabals that lurk just below the surface of our society.

    Of course, in the episodes mentioned above, the impact of the entertainment rests on taking the threats posed by the underworld of secrecy seriously.

    Therefore, when applied to something as prosaic as gum, all the tension we have built up or learned over the years is released.

    It’s OK after all.

    It is that sense of relief that is the basis of humor.

    Marie and I like the commercial as well.
