Email Spoofed!

Ok…if you’ve come to my site ready to kick my butt because you got SPAM that appeared to come from me…IT DIDN’T COME FROM ME!!!! My email has obviously been “spoofed“! When I returned home tonight from a weekend out of town, I found that I had over 3500 emails…most of them saying that “Your Email Could Not Be Delivered”. Gosh I hate that crap!

Again…it wasn’t from me!!!!

    that happened to me a couple times. i ad over 10K emails sent to my inbox saying my email couldnt be delivered. darned spammers.

    actually this happened to me once…anywhere, it is not important anymore, the most important thing is how to prevent it to happen again, any ideas?

    Don’t have to worry at all, try to use custom mails from your hosting company that will prevent it some way.

    E-mail spoofing is the forgery of an e-mail header so that the message appears to have originated from someone or somewhere other than the actual source.
