Hot Weather In Arkansas

Well I was putting together my plan to build an ark. I’m telling you…I don’t know that I’ve ever seen so much rain in the month of July in Arkansas! We were getting sizable amounts of rain, each and every day for a while and I was trying not to complain. Sure enough…the rain seems to have stopped and it has turned off “HOT”!!! No…it’s not 115 degrees like some of the poor western states have been experiencing, but 95 degrees and 99% humidity is still pretty darn tough when you’re trying to do something outside! But…such is life in Arkansas. I still love it in spite of the weather, :)

  2. You ain’t just a whistlin’ Dixie, Chris! It is m-m-m-m-u-u-u-u-g-g-y down here in sw AR, too. Like you, tho, I won’t complain…about the current weather or all the rain we’ve gotten recently. This is the first time I’ve seen the landscape in July so green and lush…it’s pretty.

  6. We’re currently suffering through a European monsoon which, until this summer, i didn’t know even existed. This led to our stream bursting it’s banks two days ago and washing away our drive. C’est la vie.

  14. I was complaining about the rain here in Oklahoma about a month ago, but since it’s stopped it’s only been in the lower 90′s here. Quite a welcome change from normal when it should be in the 100′s by now.

I’ll happily take it for as long as it lasts.

  16. Hello Wii Contests – We’re not too far from you over here in Arkansas. I must say that we crossed over the Arkansas River about two weeks or so ago, and I was amazed at how high it was! I think thats primarily because of all the rain that you guys were getting there in OK. Glad the weather has turned off nicer for you guys!

  18. I live in South Europe and I know what a high temperature is. It’s really hot, especially in summer. Fortunately, I live near the beach, so I can go for a swim when I cannot stand such extreme weather.

  22. Here in Tel Aviv, Israel, we are in the middle of intense summer heat. Everyone’s in the beach, or at sola and ice cream shops. It’s so hot here that even in my stillness, sweat runs down my face. Wishing for early cold season..

  33. We are going to visit hot springs during the first week of september. And I was wondering what the weather is like. I would love to visit the crystal falls water park, but I am not sure if weather will permit it! Or even if it is even open. Any other ideas for fun activities would be great!! Thanks for any help!
